The UOW in collaboration with Omega 3 Centre had hosted 2nd Australian Lipid Meeting
While the first meeting focused on lipidomics, the scope was expanded for the second meeting to cover all aspects of lipid research. Topics included: Imaging, Botany, Nutrition, Health and Disease, Technical Developments and Methodology

Nu-Mega steps up its support of premature babies and their families
On Sunday 26th October 2014 Nu-Mega participated in and played a key role as a sponsor of Life’s Little Treasures’ ‘Walk for Prems’ across key cities in Australia. This was the second year of participation and sponsorship for Australia’s leading charity dedicated to supporting premature babies and their families, whose aim is to provide critical information and community support, leading to optimal child and family health and wellbeing – the vision of which is in alignment with Nu-Mega’s and Clover’s.

Nu-Mega rides with Tatura for building communities in NZ
Nu-Mega participated in and sponsored the ‘Tatura 200,’ a charity bike ride raising money for the local community with the first $10,000 dollars raised matched by Tatura Milk Industries. The community event, help on the 8th of November, encouraged riders of all levels to become actively involved in riding distances between 25km and 200km. Participants were encouraged to nominate their favourite local charity as the possible recipient of funds.

Omega-3 ‘Hot topics’ Symposium in Newcastle a great success!
Nu-Mega was proud to be associated with the Australasian section of the AAOCS and The Omega-3 Centre co-hosted symposium. Over 110 scientists, researchers and industry representatives attended the symposium held in Newcastle, Australia on November 7, 2013.

11th Congress of the International Society for Study of Fatty Acids in Stockholm brings Nu-Mega to the world stage!
Nu-Mega participated in the globally recognised conference of ISSFAL last June 28- July 2, 2014 in Sweden, where over 600 of the leading scientists in the area of lipid and fatty acid research, particularly those whose work can be linked to Biochemistry and Metabolism of fatty acids, Lipids in Health and Disease and Lipids in Nutrition, shared the latest in their fields.

Nu-Mega key to the success of the Omega-3 Centre and ILSI Maternal & Infant nutrition workshop
Nu-Mega was a key sponsor as well as participant at the International Life Sciences Institute SouthEast Asian Region Scientific Workshop which set the stage for sharing new Australian research across a diverse team of academic researchers, dieticians, clinical nutritionists and community nurses. Nu-Mega’s team interacted with the scientific community as well its customers in the infant nutrition industry at the Melbourne-held workshop last August 19, 2014.
